What's the name of the bushes found in Bar Harbor

| It has the orangey-red fruit on it they look like cherry tomatoes.
We just came back from there and saw them around the Maine Coast.

| Rosa rugosa? Sea Spray Rose or Ocean Rose... we have 'em here on LI too and call them beach roses. I was in Rhode Island/Narragansett this past week and they were everywhere.

Yes! I think that is it! It looked like it had been planted in the town of Bar Harbor by the businesses. Thank you! |

| Be careful about planting rosa rugosa as they send out rhizones and can take over large areas. They have lots of thorns so they are not friendly plants either. |
