Have any of you seen this?

11:00am this morn I'm out on the covered front porch in Z6 south of Boston, MA, by the sea and I find on my NEW Schizophragma 'Moonlight' vine, which I have been searching for and finally found at Stan Megos' place in Westford, CT, but this CATERPILLAR. Bright red, like a little Irish boy...but much more voracious...
Never seen the likes of it here before. Think it looks sort of like an Acrea Moth, but this one is much more red in color. I have it in a jar, munching on the leaf I pulled off the vine. HELP! Could have come up north and hitchhiked with me, but I did scan the plant on purchase.
Might any of your Garden Webber friends help me out?
Best,
PP

Lovely critter! Here are a couple of links to photo libraries of caterpillars. I didn't see your bug, but I only scanned them.

Good luck.
