late season variety plantings

Looking to plant some late season crops along with some flowers. Space is not an issue. Any suggestions for a mix and match garden that can be harvested till ?????
Also, any suggestions for a cover crop in an existing healthy garden for the winter?
Live in Hamilton, so ocean salt air not really a determining factor |
