| Last week's heavy rains have led to a skeeter plague! I have to wear my mosquito suit, head to toe, all day, even in wind and sun. I hate these critters! |

| I've read that the little blighters can hatch in the smallest amount of water, so now I'm constantly going around the yard checking for any little accumulation on saucers, in the bottoms of watering cans, or on the lids of the big buckets we use for supplies. Course my neighbor doesn't bother to empty his buckets, wheelbarrows, watering cans etc. It's scary now that a bug bite doesn't just mean an itchy bump. We usually have no problem until sundown, the Cape Cod Mosquite control unit does a really amazing job on the local wetlands. |
