Best Method For Fall Cleanup

Posted by sr73087 none (My Page) on

I live on 1.2 acres that are probably 50% woods with lots of large maple trees. Last fall was my 1st fall in this home and the fall cleanup was somewhat overwhelming. I have been trying to plan my method of attack for this coming fall but still am unsure what the best method of cleanup will be. I have contemplated simply using the leaf blower and blowing the leaves into the woods, mowing over the leaves and putting them back into the soil or purchasing a lawn vac that vacuums and then shreds the leaves. What are others with many trees doing for fall cleanup?
