| Was anyone caught in the bad storm last week on the Cape? I was. I was in Orleans shopping and came out to see a huge windstorm and then a flash of light and fire from a telephone pole nearby. I proceeded to drive home in a blizzard with trees and telephone poles falling and live wires everywhere!!
When I got home in Wellfleet I lost 2 30' pine trees one was split in half and top was hurled across lawn + no power til Saturday morning Did anyone else here lose any trees in the storm or have similar experiences? |

| Only snow squalls here in Newport, but we lost 3 large trees, including a big old dying sugar maple I was going to cut down anyway! Saw lots of healtghy looking trees uprooted as the ground here has been saturated for weeks... |
