| The plant swap was such great fun-thankyou! I can't believe how many people came. I should have picked those pink forget me not-I keep thinking how nice they would be dancing arount my kinda pink side garden. Can I put them on the wish list. Thanks. |
| Hi Kathy, Yes, I will add pink forget-me-not to the wish list. I didn't even know there were such a thing. Someone told me they counted over 100 people. They just kept coming and coming. What a blast. |
| Is the wish list going to be updated in this thread before each swap? |
| Yes. I think what I will do is get the list from the swappers at the swap, add to it from email requests and then post it one week before the swap. So this Tuesday will be the day I post it and send it out via email. If you would like me to add you to my email list just let me know. I am very happy with the way the wish list is working out. Almost every one of the plants people were looking for at the first swap were brought. Gardeners are such generous people. |

| How big is this swap? Do interesting plants show up? |
| Hi Trillium. We had over 100 people at the first and over 80 at the second swap. And many interesting things show up. Is there something you are interested in? If your name is any indication of your interests we do have widlflowers and other woodland plants come. I got a black cohash at the first swap. And someone brought lama manure last week. Not a plant but pretty interesting! I'm sorry I didn't get any but maybe next time. |

| Here we are coming up on the last two swaps of the season already. This is the list for next week. Good weather for dividing. I've got a massive clump of red daylily to separate. I broke 2 pitchforks in the spring on a clump of them. It's got to be done though so I'm sure you'll see them at the swap. Elaine Wish List Sept. 6, 2005 Astilbe, pink- Stephanie |

| Last Swap! On September 20th we'll have our last swap of the season. We have decided to make it a little more fun by having some food. Please bring any kind of finger food, appetizer or dessert. We'll set up a table and eat and swap. We also have a request from the local teen center for some plants for their gardens, one of which is Tyler's Memorial Garden for a young man who passed tragically a few years ago. I guess we have a reputation for being generous gardeners. How true. See you Tuesday. Wish List Sept. 20, 2005 *Teen Center/Tyler’s Garden Wishes- Hosta, Coreopsis, Fall Aster, Astilbe Baptisia- Blue False Indigo- Reena |
