WANTED: Heirloom flowers, or with a history, special meaning

Hi. I'm looking to add some old flowers to some iris that I have from my grandfather's garden. I don't think they are heirlooms, but they are at least 30 yrs old. This was the only exchange that was near Long Island that would allow me to post.

The only thing I could trade you is a rose bush as I have only been gardening for 2 yrs and have mostly roses. I'm looking to start other kinds of flowers, including cottage garden flowers.

Why do you say that this was the only exchange that would allow you to post? The general plant exchange would give you a wider exposure than the regional forum.

Here is a link that might be useful: plant exchange
