Does anyone know why the Metrowest stations (Waltham & Hopkinton) don't report? Are they closed?

I don't know, maybe some one else does, but I've noticed that often there are no reports in the winter from Metrowest.

The people responsible for gathering the information are:

"METRO WEST REGION James Martin, Consulting Arborist, reporting from the UMass Extension Center, Waltham.

METRO WEST REGION Mark Sawyer, Horticulturist, Weston Nurseries, Hopkinton."

Could be they are assigned elsewhere during the off-season, or maybe they're skiing.

Claire
