Here It Comes: The Philadelphia Flower Show !!!

With less than a month to go, I just had to make my annual pitch for the

amazing Philadelphia Flower Show, with a theme this year of "Springtime in

Paris". . .if you've never ventured beyond the various New England flower

shows (and I cut my teeth on the Boston Flower Show for years as a kid

growing up there), this "magnum opus" in Philadelphia really is on a scale

you've never experienced before (unless you've been to the Chelsea Flower

Show). It's intense, exhausting and rewarding. . .and I'm more than happy

to play "on-line" host to anyone who wants "hand's on" info about the show;

start with the link below, and then ask me anything you'd like to know on

this forum or by E-mail. At this point, I know I'll be spending the entire

day there on Tuesday, March 8th, and at least half a day there on Sunday,

March 13th. . .c'mon down !!!

Sharp eyes, Deb ! But did you notice that the copy in that promotion is
either incorrect, or oddly misleading? It states that you can win EITHER
two free tix to the show, OR an overnight at a hotel. . .seems fairly odd,
like why not the complete package? Sherlock Homes, here, has a call in to
the sponsors to see if they can clarify that. . .

Maybe the sponsors want the winners of the tickets to make new gardening friends with the winner of the overnight stay - sweet!

This is a first for me! I just booked at room at the Hilton Garden Inn and bought train tickets! Done deal. The Philadelphia Flower Show has been on my 'bucket list' and this is the year! Do believe it was your description "magnum opus" that pushed me onward.
