Paul Parent leaving?

I have been a fan of the Paul Parent gardening show since its' inception. The things I have learned about gardening ,as a result of Pauls expertise, are too numerous to mention. I have just learned that he is no longer going to be hosting his 3 hour sunday am show as of april 23rd.

Jim Zoppo and his crew are leaving rko and moving over to wtkk.

Paul will be sorely missed. love his down home humor and sensible talk.

I heard his show a few times and he certainly had a large following of loyal listeners. I googled his name and the station to see if I could come up with any info but was unable to come up with anything. I suppose it is a sign of the times.

I am not a big fan, but I used to be. He got repetitive and too much product pushing.

But I tuned in late Sunday and I heard him say that his son was filling in for him next week while he is traveling. FOr the next week he said something that got bleeped out and it ended with "AM". So he should end up somewhere on the dial. I don't get AM reception here barely, so I am looking forward to a fresh garden voice on tkk.

well I have news. Paul parent will be back on AM radio at WRKO 680 on the dial, . What is happening is jim zoppo and crew are going to tkk and paul parent is going back to rko. paul will only be on from 6-8 am...zoppo and crew 6-9 on tkk. musical chairs comes to mind.

Does anybody know if you tune paul parent in on the computer can you get the whole show not just the 2 measly hours rko is giving him. I tried listening to the 3 gardening guys and had to turn them off.. 3 people to do the job of one... and not doing it very well either.IMHO.

this past Sunday (April 17) I was listening to Paul and suddenly the air went dead.....and then I heard George (his phone helper) say, "Ashton are you there,....what the hell..." .....a moment later I heard him swear.....quite a good one folks! Paul came back eventually.....and classy guy that he is he just kept going but I was thinking.....well.....you know, "what the hell?" Did anyone else hear what I heard? ....and also, so what is this? Paul is going to be on another station now? I have my radio alarm set to 95.1 for Sundays....I never miss a show but I must have missed something....I hadn't heard about the station switch.
