Sounds like a good reason for my first trip to Logee's! And since about 3 inches of snow fell on my RI land last night, no gardening there this weekend.

OK, I drove to Logee's, walked around in the various greenhouses, gawked at the exotic blooms (incl. the Jade Plant) and bought a hardy fig and a hardy gardenia. A very nice couple of hours of tropical fantasy.

Yes, it would be nice to visit Logee's and kickstart Spring (LOVE that smell of damp earth that you get inside a greenhouse)! Logee's is worth the trip because they have so many specimens that were planted years ago and very unusual plants.
