This might be a little off topic for gardening, but I figured
someone out there would know.Any known streets for the annual salamander migration known as "big night" in the greater Boston area? The conditions are getting right for them to get to their vernal pools. Thanks,Jardinista

There is a road in Lincoln that had (as of 6 or 7 years ago) a designated salamander crossing. I could try and get you some contact information.
Good question. I've never been.

MA Audubon has a couple of events, mostly in early April, and at various wetland sanctuaries. I'd never heard of Big Night before, so I googled it - thanks for cluing me in to this event, Jardinista!

Here is a link that might be useful: Ipswich River Big Night
