I just found an interesting site, on which anyone with a garden blog is invited to link to their lists of "what's blooming" in their gardens, on the fifteenth of every month.

It was enough of a push to get me to make up a list, which I posted under "Cape Cod Gardener." There are some lucky people who live where the season's far ahead of us, but also some who make me feel lucky, because they're still under snow and ice - there are currently 114 posts.

Whether you have a garden blog or not, you might want to start your list. Seems like a fun way to keep track, and makes me feel like the season is here, at last.
