Lady's Mantle in full sun

I was going to plant some lady's mantle in full sun as an edging. Then I was told it needed shade. What is your experience with Lady's Mantle in full sun in New England? Part of me wants to think that in hotter climates it would need shade, but here it would be fine. But, that's the part of me that wants what I want, and I want it in sun!

I have two plants in full sun and they both do fine. You might be right about the hotter climates. Good luck!

I have six plants that are in sun until about 2:00 (I think most consider that full sun), and they are doing great. The ones in partial sun, not so great.

I have a dwarf one in shade, except for very early morning sun. It's several years old, but only survives, not thrives. I have been thinking of relocating it to a sunnier site.

I have found many part-shade plants actually do better up here in full sun. Lady's Mantle I have found to be one of them. Mine in shade are "ok", but the ones in full sun are huge and bloom like crazy. They are in full sun next to fieldstone so they bake all day long and do fine.
