mice and seedlings?

Has anyone else had problems with mice eating the seedlings they've started under lights? They seem to have targeted my little zinnias - they've eaten the leaves of some, and yanked the entire seedling on others.

BAH!!!

Not seedlings, but I think mice ate the stem of a new little Begonia Listada plant I had just bought (houseplant). I also noticed some leaves had disappeared from other new little begonias. They're now under cloches or similar protection.

I second the BAH!!!!

YES!!!

So the lights got moved upstairs to the dining room where they are guarded by two cats. It's not at all normal for the cats to do what I tell them to, but they do spend a fair amount of time laying next to the lights, and I've had no problems since I did that.
