Hybrid Oaks?

I am a student studying Oak (Quercus) species in Massachusetts and specifically I am writing a paper on the naturally occuring hybrid oaks in Massachusetts. I was wondering if people know of particular examples of hybrid oaks growing in Massachusetts (or nearby states). I would appreciate any information people could share. I would love to photograph and observe examples up close.

I don't have any Quercus information for you but I would suggest you shoot off an email to Polly Hill Arboretum. Tim Boland the executive director has a soft spot for Quercus and if they don't have the info you are looking for I am guessing they can direct you to someone who might. Good luck. Katy
