Thanks for the heads-up KT! My mobile phone is old enough to do almost nothing but phone calls, but I do have an iPad and was thrilled to find that this is available for iPad as well as for the iPhone. Definitely the thing to have in hand when at the nursery.

I have Clematis-on -the-Web bookmarked for clematis info when nursery browsing.

Anyone have any good sources for perennial info to take to the nursery?

My favorite quick source for plant info online is the Missouri Botanical Garden
(MOBOT) plant-finder. . .similar Zone, and a fairly broad range of specific cultivars, though not absolutely everything. . .

I assume you need a data connection while using this app (Wi-Fi or 3G or 4G). Otherwise all that data and all the photos would have to be on your phone.....that would require a huge memory. Is it available for Android?

I would be all for that, Bill. I was going to buy it today if it was available. I have the new 7th edition (I think?) of the Dirr manual but having most of that on my phone would be so handy and worth the extra money. I try to look stuff up all the time an the local nurseries and it usually takes too long to be practical when sorting through all the links to find the most informative one.
