would like to find this annual in MA?

Hello;

I tried posting this earlier, so if this is a duplicate, pls disregard...

I am looking for a garden center that might carry this annual. I usually keep to perennials, but I fell in love w/this plant when I visited Portsmouth, NH last summer. The unusual ''flower pod growing up and out of another flower pod' was not only very eye catching but seemed to thrive in the NE garden. My friend in FL says it's yr round where he lives, and most likely an annual here in NE. Any advice on where I could find such a plant would be greatly appreciated! I live in Central Mass, so Boston, Southern NH, Northern RI and Worcester are all w/in an hr's drive of me.

Also, when would you suggest I plant it? With the snow during the wk/80's forecast for the weekend, I am fairly new to NE planting and would welcome advice on when to plant as well...

The plant is called; Lions tail, Lions mane, Leonotis leonorus, Dagga flower. I posted a picture of this in the GW gallery under 'Spring Fever'.

Here is a link that might be useful: Lion's Tail
