LOL! Marie, I'm glad you figured out what your mystery plant was. I'm laughing because I just saw a great plant that for the life of me I couldn't remember the name. When I saw you mention Glaucidium I realized that was it! So thanks for mentioning it. Now I need to find it.

I've been wondering where I transplanted the glaucidium to. I moved dozens of plants last spring and summer, and if I tagged anything the tags are now missing.

you,of all people, may have a place for it along one of the deep paths, back near the Great Gate. You could mound up the soil even more, and a short person might see the bells dangling under it. My memory may exaggerate that possibility. Do I remember some of the banks were falling in..... Or you could start a plant game called "hidden flowers" with scopolia, mayapples, gingers, even some epimediums. For that matter, my wood peony flowers are often completely hidden by foliage. Sometimes I snip away a bit so they'll be visible.
