Your best bet is to post on the Soil, Compost and Mulch Forum.

There are a lot of very knowledgeable people there (and some who just think they're knowledgeable) and they often field questions about worms and maggots and larvae in compost. You'll get plenty of suggestions.

I would not worry about anything that's going on in my compost pile, as long as it doesn't smell. Some natural processes are just not pretty! Keep turning it, all will be well.

That's my 2 cents, and I freely admit that I'm one of those people who just thinks they're knowledgeable. I've been composting for a very long time and have never seen anything go seriously wrong (unless you want to count the time my neighbor complained about the smell of a bin that was full of grass clippings).
