Another first time nursery visit

Just got home from Tanquil Lake in Rehoboth, MA. At first it looked a bit small but once you walk around you can see a nice display and plants for sale. Things are well marked, and prices are about what you'd expect to pay for quality plants. I bought a blue flowering Amsonia, because they had mounds of them in bloom near the front entrance, and I'm easy! LOL!

Very nice, and I'll go back there again.

Ha! I must have just missed you. I went on Friday... I had gone 3 years ago, but didn't have a chance to go back until this week. It is a great nursery, and of course it is spectacular in July when all of the daylilies bloom.

This time I picked up Geranium (Bevan's something or other), which is supposed to be good for dry shade, a lovely epimedium, also for dry shade, plus some hens & chicks for fun. I love their display gardens.

It's very nice there. I will definitely go back this summer!
If you like succulents, as well as alpine and rock garden plants, I think you'd like the Farmer's Daughter, if you've never been. LARGE and healthy hens and chicks (best variety and quality I've ever seen!). Their grower must be very good. Also a lot of sedums and hardy cacti.
