I've been thinking about ways to use the new Image Gallery. I've already stored some old photo threads there (Birds and other mobile features in the garden) and I thought it could also be used a little like the FAQ page but with a lot of photos (I can't put many photos in any FAQ).

Show us Your Landscape - A photo thread - January 2012. I corrected a few very minor typos. I thought this might be of general interest and also comforting for the new gardeners who may have been blindsided by their brand-new rhododendron's response to cold.

I'm assuming that the Gallery will move much slower than the Discussions page so posts will stay on the first few pages for a long long time rather than sliding off the site.

I went to Tower Hill Botanic Garden today. I'm sorting through the couple hundred photos I took and I've started posting photos in the gallery. I should have the rest of the photos up in the next few days.

I added a post tonight on our visit to the Green Animals Topiary Gardens in Portsmouth RI. I was really inspired and I am having some ideas of filling in my pond, cutting down all my trees, and creating my own topiary zoo in my back yard! Should I go for it?
