pre-built shed?

With our wonderful winters :) my prebuilt garden shed is at the end of its life....I don't have the skills, people, or time to construct one by myself. There are several New England companies that construct on site. Just wondered if anyone has had experience with such companies. I need less than 200 sq ft for JD mower, leaf blower, mulching mower, old standby mower, plus the usual array of pots, tools, etc.

I've done a GW search and while I picked up a few tidbits, I thought I would check in here for more region specific. I'm in the Hartford area.

We got a Pine Harbor shed a few years ago and it's great. They put it up on site and we later shingled it. It's very sturdy, and they had a good assortment of styles - we were able to match the pitch of the roof on our house, which was important to us since the shed is visible from the street.

Much less pricey than Walpole Woodworkers - those looks wonderful but are awfully expensive.

Thanks - I checked the Pine Harbor site and when I put in my zip code, it came up blank. I'll check it again.

An another one had a brochure at my local machine shop, PostWoodworking.com. Apparently they had one in their parking lot but I missed seeing it.....

Just a thought because I saw Kloter Farms ad for this month. They deliver and set up. Outer buildings are on sale now. Good luck.

Defintely glad to see you are interested in a prebuilt one. Many years ago, my husband and I put together one of those kits from a 'home improvement' store and it was tricky taking at least 4 weekends. Plus some of the materials and framing was inferior (so we had to add extra pieces of framing). So initially it seemed like a cheaper way to go about it but in the long run with the amount of time it took to build and the extra pieces of wood we needed to buy it would have been better to go with a prebuilt!

We have a post woodworking shed and have been very happy with it and the service. We had it sided to match our house. This winter we had a window box crack and the trim on the double door cracked from the kids not shutting it and the wind banging the doors open and shut. We made a simple phone call and were welcomed to pick up replacement parts for free right away. One word of advice, go much bigger than you think you need! LOL

We have a shed from Kloter farms! It's very sturdy. They brought it on a trailer that actually swerves to place it exactly where you need it. Good Luck!

Reeds Ferry Sheds is another option. I have one and think it is an outstanding product. (see photo) They assemble on site and are finished building the shed in a half day. What I also like is they honor their warranty. I had a hinge problem, sent them an email and they arrived next day to repair it. They have an excellent reputation in New England. (although I don't know if they do work in Hartford) Search Reeds Ferry Sheds and check them out too.
