| I picked up a bag of (obviously) on sale Daf. bulbs with my peony order that just arrived. If I force them now and put them out when they bloom, will they do okay? I'm in Boston. Thanks so much! |

| I just dug up a ton of daffodils at my grandmothers house. I probably dug up 5 clumps of 100 bulbs each. All in bloom. And I did the same thing last year. (I personally find it easier to dig and transplant when something is in bloom - than trying to remember what color it was and where I want it.) I found that all the bulbs survived, but I only got about a 50% bloom rate this year. That is fine with me, since I'm thinking long term about my landscape. The bulbs I dug up in bloom 2 years ago, I got close to a 100% bloom rate. |
