Bonzai Treatment of Pines....See the difference (photos)

Hi there!
I always find this interesting. The trees in these photos were planted at the same time, same variety of pine. Approximately 1935 plantings. The little guy was pruned consistently to keep it small and interesting (maybe 9 feet tall); the others grew to be tall (probably 65 feet I would guess). Check it out....
the one that has been pruned annually....
and the ones that haven't been....
