Mini roses from local market survived winter and blooming

I can't remember who asked about the mini roses sold in the local markets last spring and summer.

I seem to recall that the question was something about will they survive the winter.

Well here's the answer with pics to show how well they do survive.

The flowers change in color as they age and make a stunning display of variety of colors on the small bush

Hubby bought a pot for me as an early wedding anniversary present last year, towards the end of June.

He found them on sale for $4.99 instead of the regular price of $6.99. He just couldn't resist this particular pot because it was blooming 3 totally different color blooms.

I found 4 separate plants in the pot and planted each one separately in 3 different locations in my garden beds, all getting early morning and later afternoon sun.

All did beautifully blooming all summer and into the fall.

Here they are blooming now, all except for 1 that gets the least amount of sun and now has buds on it.

I'd say if you see some that you like, go ahead and buy one, plant it, enjoy over the summer and watch them return the next year.
