Back in your first posting, you got advice to use something with better drainage than the potting mix. Did you change the potting soil out for something that drains better? Is it right now out of the rain such as under an eave? Lavender really does like sharp drainage, more like a cactus mix than potting soil, or with a relatively large amount of gravel or sand added to the potting mix.

At this point, the best I can suggest is that you repot it with probably at least 1/3 - 1/2 of the pot's volume sand or gravel mixed with potting soil. Keep it out of the rain (under a loose plastic bag if necessary) and don't water it until it is totally dry at least an inch down. Don't put gravel in the bottom since that will prevent drainage; water doesn't move well from areas of finer textured soil to coarser textured soil, so the water would be more likely to stay around the plant's roots.

I think that probably most of us have killed at least one lavender, so if this one dies, find another and try again with your new knowledge that they really don't like to be wet. It is easy as a new gardener to kill a plant with kindness such as overwatering or overfertilizing. I can often find lavender for $5 or less in my area, so this need not be a really expensive lesson.

I just added gravel to the bottom of the pot this morning. I am going to cut back to watering to three times a week. I just water until it flows out the drain hole, should that be enough?

1 time a week would be better. 3x may well be too much.
