Any interest in a fall plant swap in Tewksbury??

Posted by ishareflowers 6a. MA. (My Page) on

I am seriously thinking about hosting this fall. I know a handful from Annies swap that said they would be here but I am a more the merrier type of person.

I have gone to several plant swaps and always enjoy seeing other peoples gardens and talking/swapping plants.

This wouldn't be until September but I am just throwing it out there now to see if there is an interest.

Weren't there a few in the fall some 7-8 yrs ago.

I like the fall swaps, many trees and shrubs are still germinating during the spring events.

If the plants I have are to small for fall planting they can be over wintered and planted in spring.

I;m happy to see some interest and that it's some people that I haven't met yet...

I will keep all posted as the time gets closer

Lisa, I would love to come to your swap and see your gardens
and I'll bring a couple of my garden pals with me.

I'm planning my Fall Swap for the last Sunday in September
so hope you are having yours before then.

Hi Annie,

I emailed to ask the date of yours before posting this, as I told you in my email.... I have to go to Annies!!!!

I will likely plan it for two weeks before yours and I am thrilled that you will make the trip down.

I'd be very interested. Part of my "mission" this summer is to collect perennials from as many sources as are willing to give them and overwinter them until May. Unfortunately, most of them are the shady variety since I don't much sun in my yard but there are some "sunny" ones in the space I do have with sun. I know I already have some things I know what they are and some I don't. I'll be bringing these to the swap but don't know right now exactly what that will be. Could I be more vague? Thanks for doing this, Lisa!
