We have already covered my inlaws' blueberies. They have a frame made of plastic plumbing tubing that holds the net off the blueberry bushes.

I bought some flexi balls...now now take your mind out of the gutter, at the Agway in Plymouth. They are a very cool garden gadget that actually works. The price was around $8.00 for a half a dozen and you use them with your bamboo stakes to make the frame for netting.
In my experience the birds won't go after your blueberries or other fruit I assume until it begins to ripen.
