On another thread, Katy mentioned that the Kousa dogwoods in Falmouth are really lovely this year, and asked for some photos of them. Here's one, and a link to some more that I took this morning when we took our dog for a long walk around the neighborhood.

| Oh, thank you for posting, Nan, and thanks for asking, Katy. I love dogwoods in general, and your Falmouth Kousas are lovely. It's interesting that my two are also in full bloom right now (but a bit gangly and not so large as of yet) despite being so much farther north. Coastal springs really must come quite a bit later. The oak leaf hydrangea in the last photo looks like it will be pretty spectacular the first sunny day we have. |
