Oddly enough, Mindy, I was at that Lowe's yesterday for the first time. Too bad I didn't run into you! But it was a very brief and disappointing visit because they didn't have the pine bark nuggets I need for my veg. garden paths.

I've also seen at a couple of Lowes good deals on named hostas ($3.50?), caladiums. The Lowes near my work on Rt 9 also had citrus plants (oranges/limes) marked way down -- I think 80%-90% off since they were probably sent here by mistake.

I was at the Lowes in Greenland NH today and bought lots of 1 gal perennials at 3/$10 for my new bed out front (finally got rid of the scraggly rhododendrons.) They also had many trees discounted 75%.
