I wonder about wild rice around here also. I know it grows in northern WI, and had no idea that it grows in CT. I wonder if it would grow in more northern New England as it would add one more crop.

I would buy his rice! I love rice and I could live on it. Our supermarket chain (Hanneford) carries a full range of organic, locally grown foods. I think he shouldn't discount supermarkets altogether.
