Interesting - hadn't heard of this. I have tons of the tall, normal variety, and I'd wonder if seedlings would also be short. I actually love the height - between that and meadow rue, much of my garden is at eye level or above.

Well, I planted my 'Lolliop' (will take pics later when it's not blinding sun out there).

Research told me that it's hardy only to zone 7; hopefully it will reseed and come back next year like the standard variety. I've always admired the taller Verbena bonariensis, but my garden in filled with tall plants and I needed some lower level interest points.
