| Lowe's is having a one gallon perennial sale - 3 for $10.00. I got Arizona Sun Blanket Flower (Gaillardia), Fanfare Blanket Flower (Gaillardia), White Swan Coneflower (Equinacea cisne blanco) and Whirling Butterflies (Gaura lindeheimeri). I'm so bad at languages that I'm not sure it I gave you the Latin or Spanish names. In the back at the Dedham store there were a few clearance racks with $1.00 - $2.00 annuals and $2.00 perennials (some higher). I got for $2.00 each Summer Sorbet Caryopteris and Aztec Lavendar Verbena. IF YOU GO TO THE DEDHAM STORE ASK FOR MIKE. I told him I was going to put his name on the Garden Forum so it's OK - he's expecting you. Mike has been there 5 years and has helped me out a few times and really knows where everthing is. I'm pretty sure the plants I got bloom into fall but they had more of a variety with spring and early summer bloomings as well. |
