beginning to plan nh fall plant swap

The hibiscus and anemones are beginning to flower so guess we should be thinking about a fall plant swap. I have in mind either Sept. 23, Sept. 24 or Sept. 30. Let me know if you are interested and which dates would not be good.

I would love to attend the fall swap. The Sept. 23 and 24 work best for me. Sept. 30 I will be attending the Deerfield Fair.

Anne, I'm not sure how a swap works, I have plants to share. Is it for just those days? Vee

Hi Vee
The swap will be one of the days I mentioned. Once I hear from a few others I will settle on the day. On that day you just show up with as few or as many plants as you want and after getting acquainted and so forth we begin the swap. It's very informal and lots of fun. Hope you will join us.

Annie. The only day I could attend would be Sept 30th. The 23rd and 24th are religious holy days days for me and I will be conducting services both mornings.

I can't do saturdays, so I am voting for the 24th :)

Hi Annie,

You know I will be dragging PJ again (just in case it is pooring out again and anyone else gets stuck in the driveway--he loved the mudbath--LOL) and we can only make it if it is on the 23rd. We have Coast Guard Auxilary Duty on the 30th and we are going to a BBQ Bday Party scheduled on the 24th.

I will keep watching! I love your swaps!

I'm just getting back from California that week but I should be ok for any of these days. I'll just have to make sure my plants are dug and potted before I go on vacation. I have a few daylillies that need dividing. I also have a small Purple Emperor Sedum that popped up in a strange place, so it might get brought along as well. Probably some foxgloves too.

Not to rush, but any ideas as to the date yet?

 o
RE: beginning to plan nh fall plant swap

The 23rd seems to be the best for everyone, including me.
I'll post it on the exchange by tomorrow so people can start planning .

Don't forget to go to the exchange side and list what you are looking for and what you might bring.
