I think Honorine Jobert is a hybrid - Anemone x hybrida - so it would not come true from seed. If it's happy, it spreads by runners. Mine took a while to get established, but now has spread pretty nicely - there are several crowns, spaced by about a foot each in all directions from the parent plant.

If I were you, I'd give it a nice compost mulch, keep it watered well through the fall, cross my fingers, and swear off buying plants on ebay.

There is no recourse if plants are damaged, dead or not true to the name.
It took me 3 years to grow Paeony mlokosewitchii untill it finally bloomed and to discover that it is a pink garden hybrid, not a yellow SPECIES I was looking for.
