Silver Poplar leaves

| Hi, I know I asked this question in the spring, but thought I would ask again. Does anyone know where I could find a Silver Poplar tree in the Boston area. I am in Peabody,MA. As a flower presser, black and white are very difficult colors to find (white turns brown). But the silver poplar leaves are a dark green on one side and a felt like white/gray on the other. I would love to find a tree and pick some leaves to press. They are like gold to me! Any one know of where in Massachusetts I can find a tree? |

The arnold arboretum. And maybe long hill near you in ipswich-call them. The AA have maps and location lists of all trees. and why not call corliss bros in ipswich and newbury perennials and Northeast nurseries; they may have one in their display gardens. you should also post this on the Trees forum. i wonder if the undersides of yak. rhodos would be useful to you............ best, mindy |
