Hi All,

My hubby has asked what I want for Christmas...

I have decided I *really* love getting magazines especially in the winter when gardening is only a dream.

Can any of you suggest magazines that you receive and like?

I was thinking Fine Gardening, but then wondered if there weren't others that might be a better fit.

To call my gardening "fine" is a bit of a stretch. It's more like "guess and hope" gardening!!

I agree--and I have subscribed to all of them thru the years. Still get a few but the internet has hit publishing hard and magazines are not what they used to be in terms of content.

If I got only one, it would be Fine Gardening.

I subscribe to Fine Gardening and Garden Gate magazine. You can access each one online and have a look. You'll learn from each of these well done publications - an online look should help you decide.

I have been cleaning up and removing years of clutter around my house and I have to say I have a hard time letting go of cooking and gardening magazines but somehow they don't warrant limited space on my book shelves so they sit in piles until I impulsively throw them in the recycling pile. For this and many other reasons I am thankful for my e-reader.
