Can I put a rose plant into the ground when it's cold out?

So a few days ago when it was "nice" out I got excited and purchased a rose plant.. about $8

I think it's drying a little but still looks real healthy.
I want to put it in the ground asap! The only thing is it's about 31 degrees out today. I think we will peak out at about 40. Then back to 30 or 29 degrees tonight.

If I plant it now, will it go into shock or will it be okay?

Please help asap!!
