My brother, bless his little green-thumb heart, is somewhat of a master gardener and two years ago he visited us for the summer and grew the most amazing crop of tomatoes.

As a gardener, I am a pretty good carpenter, and last year, doing what I think were exactly the same things he did, I grew at best a mediocre crop.

I have about 10 hrs sun in my yard, the soil is clay, sand, mulch. I think my problem was the wrong tomato. Brother cannot remember what he planted ( as I said, his heart is ok, bu his head is somewhere that most people can't go).

What is a good tomato for these conditions?
