I will be honest, I am a plant killer.. but my fiance just bought me the most beautiful Spanish Lavender. At first I was considering planting it outside, but then I found out that it was not meant for the zone I am in (zone 5).. I can't say that I am too upset about it because so far my house is filled with this amazing smell, but now I am just waiting for my plant to die..

Should I put it in a different pot? How big should that pot be? If I put it in another pot do I have to put different dirt in it? It says "water deeply" How much is deeply? How often do I water it? Is it going to die if the only window that I have is an eastern exposure? Will I need to trim it or anything like that?

Forgive me for all of the questions, but like I mentioned before, I am a plant killer.. and I desperately want to keep this lavender alive!
