 o
baking powder- used dry as bulb dust??- fungicide??

I can't find any info on this. I assume if it can be used in a mix as a spray see this article:
http://plant-disease.ippc.orst.edu/articles.cfm?article_id=14
...that someone somewhere has used it dry??

I have looked around the small towns here for a bulb dust for at least 3 years and I never find any- just liquid fungicides which I'm not interested in using on bulbs- I'd rather have a powder. Every year something starts rotting in the basement for dormant storage for our 7-8 month winter storage season.

I'd rather not buy a product on line if I have it in my kitchen already..

As discussed in a different forum, baking soda will not work for this purpose. Try sphagnum moss.
