curved concrete garden edgers

Hey everyone,

I'm looking for decent curved concrete garden edgers. Lowes/Home Depot seem to cary the Oldcastle preformed curved concrete edgers which seem fine but don't have a lot of options for curves. According to their website there are three sizes of curved edgers: 12", 16", and 24". However they don't list how many pieces it takes to make a circle, or how large (diameter) a circle made of these pieces would be.
Playing around with pieces at Home Depot, it seemed like eight of the 16" curved edgers make a circle which appeard to be 5 feet in diameter (I should have grabbed one of their tape measures to make certain!)... The Lowes and Home Depot in my area seem to only cary the 16" curved edgers.
Does anyone know about the 12" or 24" pieces and their curvature? Or is there an eacy way to get more drastic curves from these pieces?

Thanks!

RE: curved concrete garden edgers

juicy, I realize that by now you've probably gotten an answer to your question, but I too am about to embark on a gardening project including round borders. I spoke with Home Depot and all they carry is 12" and it takes 10 of them to make a 3' circle. I was really looking at making a 5 to 6' circle, but I'm not so sure that it will retain its roundness on a larger scale(12"). So what did you find out? Maybe you can enlighten me.
