Has anyone grown this much? It looks very pretty on the package, but I haven't seen it grown before. Any suggestions?

RE: Liatris

This is one tough, sturdy native plant. Also very easy to germinate. I used the paper towel method - lightly moistened paper towel with seeds wrapped inside. Then enclose in a baggy and put it on a warm surface. You should get quick sprouting in 3-4 days. Even if you germinate them in moist soil, it should be easy.

I have these, and they're super easy. Very tough too, like she said. I bought a bag of them, and they have done so well. I did buy a packet of seeds and planted them, when they came up, it was prairie coneflowers, so I was pleasantly suprised. I'll just dig some others up and move them to where I want them. The bees love them too.

So do the rabbits, which is why I need to cage mine.

They look so much like grass in the spring, I mindlessly pull them out....
Think I'll try one more time!
