I live in Arlington, VA, and am moving from my tiny apartment to my first home. It has a fantastic porch and backyard, so I am hoping to start my first garden. I have read a lot about the square-foot-garden and also container gardens. I like the idea of not having to weed, but are these as successful as in round gardens? Also, is there a good site that lays out best time to plant everything by region?
