Moving plants...

Last year the next door neighbor bought way too many plants and didn't have time to get them all in the ground... Just as she was tossing them out I offered to plant them for her.. I got one flat in that day but still had a flat and a half to go... When she came home from work she was so pleased that some of them were planted she told me to take the rest... ( I think it was because she was embarrassed that such an old woman was planting her garden... LOL )

Anyway, I used the Pinks, ( that's what I think they are ) as an edging, alternated them, one pink, one purple along a 15 foot section of the back garden... To my surprise they're coming back up this year but only the ones on the right 7 or 8 feet, the other end is bare....

I was trying to think of a way to keep them one pink, one purple without digging them all up... Any suggestions?

Rita
