There are very few plants that CANNOT be successfully grown in a container. The important things to remember are to select a container that is the proper size and has good sized drainage holes; build a coarse, fast-draining potting mix by adding plenty of amendments to a high quality commercial (soil-less) medium by adding pine bark fines and/or lots of perlite.

Keep your container in plenty of sunlight and water only when needed.
