planting mirabilis jalapa tubers

| I bought a few Mirabilis Jalapa (4 o'clock flowers) tubers, and can't figure out exactly how to plant them. The tubers look like a carrot, pointed at one end. Do they go in the ground pointed end down? horizontal? Sorry for what must be a silly question... but better to ask than goof up. Thanks! Thom |

| When in doubt - horizontal. They usually work out their own best position (thank goodness!) |
