nidhi - when you come to a forum and see the list of topics - on that page, under the bnner ad, you'll see a menu bar. Directly under that green menu bar, on the left-hand side, you'll see a list of options - and one of them is for posting a new topic. It's the last one on the list.

kim13: quite often peas will 'tiller' or send up new side shoots so I wouldn't despair just yet.

I know the season is pushing on to full summer. However, you could try for another sowing of peas. Perhaps an 'early' variety that will mature quickly. Or something like asparagus peas that will tolerate the increasing warmth (and give pretty flowers, too.)

You might already know this - if you plant a few and often for vegetables, then you get a more steady supply than if you just plant heaps once. Heaps is fine if you want a bulkload for the freezer and you're prepared to slave over the chopping board for a few hours at a time.

If you plant to grow for succession then you can go for different varieties at different times in the growing season. Or switch from plants that do better in spring/early summer (lettuce) to greens that tolerate summer better.

Total sympathy for the chaos caused by the workers for your neighbour. I'm still trying to restore a battered Fuchsia and Tibouchina after the builder pranced all over them. Bah!
